Bruce has over 25 years' experience in Reading's property market and founded Samuel James in 1991.
Oliver Lee, Lettings Manager

Oliver joined the team in 2006 and has had a major influence on the progression and growth of business over the past nine years. He maintains positive relations with existing landlords/investors and builds long standing relationships with new landlords/investors. He has a positive approach to managing the lettings team and continues to improve the day to day running of the business.

Sam joined the team in 2010 having successfully achieved a BA at Northampton University. The addition of Sam's intuition and skill has brought further impetus and momentum to the growth of Samuel James. He maintains existing relationships as well as forming new ones with investors and prospective buyers. Due to Sam's proactive and positive approach to business Samuel James sales has continued to expand and develop.

Linda joined Samuel James in 2011 and is responsible for managing new and existing properties. As a fully qualified book keeper, Linda also plays a part in handling the accounts.
Stephanie Watson, Accounts Assistant

Stephanie recently joined the team as a PA. Her main role is to provide assistance to the Accounts Manager and the Proprietor of the business. This involves paying invoices and the raising of landlord statements, processing rent payments among other things. Prior to joining Samuel James she worked as a self-employed PA for a number of years. She hopes to develop through training to eventually become qualified in accounts.
Rosalind Pontin, Accounts Manager

Rosie has worked alongside Bruce since 1992 and assisted with developing the business into what it is today. She began as a lettings negotiator and has now taken the role of our accounts manager. Rosie is qualified in accountancy and keeps the smooth running of incoming rents and payments to landlords.

Will May , Sales Negotiator
Will May joined Samuel James in April 2018 as a Sales Negotiator Apprentice having A- levels in Business Studies, PE and Science. Through his apprenticeship training, in house mentoring & further company funded external training, Will intends to learn and develop the skills required for becoming a successful and accomplished estate agent. He demonstrates a helpful & professional approach while assisting clients, taking calls, and arranging viewings.
Ruby McGrath, Lettings Co-ordinator Apprentice
